San Diego, CA–Sports San Diego officials have announced a change in venue and the ticket on-sale date for the 2025 Rady Children’s Invitational.
The field includes the Florida Gators (SEC), the Providence Friars (Big East), and the Wisconsin Badgers (Big Ten). The fourth team will be announced soon. The tournament has also moved its location to the Jenny Craig Pavilion at the University of San Diego.
“Due to overwhelming demand—last year’s event sold out two months in advance—we needed a larger venue to accommodate our growing fan base,” said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego. “We’re incredibly grateful to UC San Diego for being an amazing partner in our first two years of the Rady Children’s Invitational. Our goal has always been to bring top college basketball teams to our event, and this year’s lineup continues that tradition.”

The Florida Gators captured back-to-back NCAA championships in 2006 and 2007. They’ve also played in nine Elite Eight rounds and 24 NCAA tournaments. The Gators captured their fifth SEC Tournament championship in 2025.
The Wisconsin Badgers have participated in four Final Fours, 28 NCAA Tournament appearances and secured 20 regular season championships. Additionally, the Badgers have achieved a total of 663 victories.
The Providence Friars have made two appearances in the Final Four along with four trips to the Elite Eight and 22 NCAA tournament appearances. Providence has won 1,576 games.
The third annual tournament is scheduled to take place from November 27 to 28. Each day will feature two games, with the championship and third-place games set for November 28. Tip-off times a later date.
All tournament games will be broadcast nationally on FOX or FS1. Tickets can be purchased at www.RadyChildrensInvitational.com. Two-day passes are priced between $95 and $155, with two games scheduled each day. For every ticket sold, $5 will be donated to Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego.
