OCEANSIDE–Multiple vehicles parked at an Oceanside apartment complex Monday were vandalized with spray paint, Oceanside police said Monday.
Security reported, just before 3:30 a.m., the tagged vehicles and parking structures inside the complex on the 200 block of Ranch Del Oro.
A total of 18 vehicles were found with brown or white spray paint on them. The tagging included squiggly or wavy lines, phallic symbols, attempted drawings of satanic symbols, and derogatory terms.
The tagging was done, with apparently no victimology matching the terms tagged on specific vehicles, according to investigators.
Oceanside police detectives are investigating the case.
