SAN DIEGO–County Crime Stoppers and San Diego police are asking for assistance from the public to help identify and locate two unknown suspects wanted for attempt homicide.

On March 10, around 2:45 p.m., two adult males (victims) were seated at a park bench outside the Presidio Park Recreation Center, located at 2811 Jackson Street in San Diego. Two unknown suspects approached the victims and demanded cigarettes. The suspects engaged the victims one-on-one. The victims stated they did not have any cigarettes. The first suspect stabbed one of the victims four times. The second suspect stole the other victim’s wallet and then stabbed the 69 year-old victim once in the abdomen. The suspects fled on foot through the Presidio golf course towards Juan Street. One of the victims has had multiple surgeries and is still in critical condition at the hospital.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic males, about 18 to 25 years-old, 5 feet, 8 inches to five feet, nine inches tall, with thin builds, short hair and no facial hair. One suspect was wearing tan pants, a tan shirt, and a tan/brown hat. The other suspect was wearing black pants, dark blue/black t-shirt and no hat. Neither suspect spoke with a discernible accent.

The suspects possibly ran through the Old Town Historic Park towards the Old Town Trolley.
