SAN DIEGO–Students from Serra High School’s Club Elevated have designed messages reminding adults not to provide alcohol or allow underage drinking at holiday parties.

Students placed stickers and bottle-hangers on alcohol packaging at Primo Market in Tierrasanta.

California Highway Patrol data for San Diego County shows twice as many fatalities involved drunk and drugged drivers during the holiday season, compared to before and afterward.

Drinking can lead to poor decisions about engaging in risky behavior, including drinking and driving, sexual activity and violent behavior.

Under the Social Host Ordinance, you must control the amount of alcohol at your party and who has access to it. You’re also responsible for knowing the age of your guests and supervising the activities of minors.
