Escondido, CA–North Island Credit Union marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its newest full-service retail branch in Escondido,
The inauguration was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local city officials, business leaders, and community members, featuring special member raffles, prizes, and giveaways.
The event underscored the credit union’s commitment to enhancing its services and presence in the San Diego area.
“We’re excited to officially open our 11th location in the greater San Diego area with our new Escondido branch. I want to thank all the special guests who joined our celebration as well as our exceptional members and branch team,” said Steve O’Connell, president and CEO of North Island Credit Union. “We look forward to serving our members and building even stronger relationships with our grassroots partners to benefit our Escondido community. The new branch is at 1230 Auto Park Way in the Escondido Promenade Shopping Center.
A standout feature of the branch is its 1,700-square-foot Community Room, designed to support local organizations by providing a space for events and meetings at no charge. Additionally, the branch offers various financial services, including investment, mortgage, and business banking, with specialists available on-site. The branch boasts a contemporary design, an open floor plan, free Wi-Fi, hospitality and private meeting areas, and 24-hour ATM services.
North Island Credit Union’s membership is open to anyone in San Diego and Riverside counties. The Escondido branch operates Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., providing convenient access to its services for the community.
