San Marcos, CA–The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and San Diego County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with an arson in San Marcos. 

The suspect is described as a man wearing black and white flannel, blue jeans, and white shoes. 

The arson was reported on August 10 just before midnight in the 100 block of South Rancho Santa Fe Road. 

Surveillance video shows a man approaching the business office of San Marcos View Estates and setting it on fire.

There were no reports of injury in the blaze. The fire caused an estimated $3,000 in damage to the front office, investigators said. 

Sheriff’s Bomb and Arson detectives are investigating the case.
