SAN DIEGO–A man who shot and killed two people Sunday evening in the community of Mountain View has not been found, San Diego police said Monday.
The suspect has been identified as 39 year-old Felipe Vega of San Diego and he is considered armed and dangerous.
Homicide detectives say the male and female, both in their 20’s, were found lying in the driveway behind a residence in the 1100 block of South 43rd Street. Both victims’ had sustained gunshot wounds to the upper body. Police officers and paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation revealed there was an argument between the two victims and a Hispanic male acquaintance before the male shot the two victims. The male then fled the scene and is currently a fugitive.
The victims’ identities are known, but will not be released pending further family notifications.
