SAN DIEGO–A pedestrian was struck by a Coaster train Thursday in downtown San Diego, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department

On November 18, at approximately 4:34 p.m., deputies from the North Coastal Sheriff’s Station’s Transit Enforcement Unit responded to a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a Coaster train near Ash Street and Pacific Coast Highway in San Diego. 

The victim sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and was transported to a local hospital.
