Military and Sheriff’s department to conduct training in Alpine

Alpine, CA–The U.S. Army will be conducting training exercises in cooperation with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department for two days in Alpine.

Residents in east Alpine or Descanso area are expected to see or hear military helicopters during the training exercises on July 21 and July 26 in the 7800 block of Campbell Ranch Road. The training is not in response to any real-world event.

The U.S. Army said they appreciate the cooperation of the community and local businesses in the vicinity of the training and apologizes for any disturbances it might cause.
