El Cajon, CA–El Cajon police are seeking information from the public on the identity and location of a man accused of fatally shooting another man in a parking lot Friday in east county, police said.
Officers responded to the parking lot of 441 Dominguez in El Cajon, after reports of at least one gunshot. Officers located a male adult with an apparent gunshot injury and rendered medical aid until relieved by medical personnel. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where he died as a result of his injury.
A light-skinned male suspect fled the scene, running northbound on Dominguez, then eastbound along Madison Avenue. The suspect has not yet been apprehended.
