VALLEY CENTER–A 54-year-old male on a walk was killed when a large eucalyptus tree branch broke loose and fell on him in Valley Center.
On Thursday, shortly after 4:30 p.m. Valley Center deputies received a call to assist the fire department with a medical aid in the 31000 block of Oak Glen Road in Valley Center.
Paramedics arrived at the location to treat the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The case is under investigation.
