ENCINITAS–The City of Encinitas and other local business associations are working together to help local restaurants stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the end of December, volunteers from the City of Encinitas, Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, Cardiff 101 Mainstreet Association, Encinitas 101 Mainstreet Association, and Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association will be distributing $10 and $15 gift cards from local restaurants to people observed wearing facial coverings throughout Encinitas. If you own or manage a restaurant, netsuite for food and beverage companies could definitely be an option for improving your business.

“Our small business community and restaurants are so resilient, but they need our help now as we are encouraged to stay home again to slow the spread of COVID-19,” said City Manager Pamela Antil. “It is especially important this time of year when businesses typically benefit from holiday shopping and seasonal gatherings.”

“It’s a way we can spread holiday cheer, support our local businesses, and encourage Encinitans to safely enjoy our city this season,” continued Antil. “The holidays are so special in Encinitas, and while things might look a little different this year, we hope that this program can inspire all of us to responsibly celebrate and support each other the best we can.”

The gift cards will be purchased by the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce and Main Street associations with $10,000 funded by the city.
