VISTA—An 18-year-old male was arrested for his involvment in graffiti vandalism, Sheriff’s deputies said on Thursday.

Deputies arrested Bladimir Lopez at a residence in North Citrus Drive in Vista. The arrest was made as a result of an ongoing graffiti vandalism investigation involving no less than 303 incidents of graffiti vandalism cleaned up by the City of Vista. The cleanup associated with the Lopez’ tag “ALSOE” has cost the city approximately $89,500.

Graffiti Tracker, an investigative tool used to track acts of graffiti vandalism was also used in the investigation and identification of the suspect. Numerous Items of evidence were also collected from the residence.

Lopez was arrested and booked at the Vista Detention Facility on vandalism related charges.
