San Diego, CA –The California Highway Patrol is investigating two separate freeway shootings that occurred early Tuesday morning in San Diego.
The shootings were reported at around 2:14 a.m. on northbound Interstate-805 south of Imperial Avenue, according to CHP.
A motorist was shot on the freeway and had pulled over. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
A second motorist was shot while driving eastbound on State Route 94, according to CHP investigators. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
The vehicle is described as a black four-door sedan similar to a Nissan Altima or Maxima.
