CARLSBAD–With just nine days to its official opening date, Legoland Castle Hotel’s pool has been filled with water.

Who is first to take a dip? Lego ducks of course! The 25 yellow Lego ducks found their way out of the Royal Princess rooms and flocked to the gradual entry pool which was just completed on the west side of the new hotel opening at Legoland California Resort on April 27. The little ducklings weren’t bothered by the construction and finishing touches still taking place as the Royal Courtyard continues to come together.

The pool has two interactive features: a water fountain and two tipping baskets which will splash guests in the pool from above. The Royal Courtyard also features a picnic/cinema area with a large movie screen and seating, a stage for daily performances, a Duplo play area for toddlers and a Knight Training interactive playground for those children ready to balance, climb and play.

Legoland California Resort is accepting reservations for Legoland Castle Hotel and guests have three room themes available: Royal Princess, Knights and Dragons and Magic Wizard.
