OCEANSIDE–Two males and one juvenile male were identified and arrested Monday in connection with the alleged shooting of three females on Sunday at an Oceanside shopping plaza, Oceanside Police Department said.
Police officers arrested Anthony Tua, 19, of Oceanside; Deshune Bryant,18, of Fallbrook, and a 16-year-old juvenile, according to Oceanside Police Department spokesman Tom Bussey.
On Sunday, shortly after 5 p.m., Oceanside police responded to a reported shooting with multiple victims in front of a clothing store at 3784 Mission Avenue. When officers arrived they found two adult female victims with gunshot wounds to their legs. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A third victim was later contacted at the hospital with a minor injury.
Investigators said the victims were not the intended targets as the suspects shot into a large group of people. The shooting appears to have been gang motivated.
