SAN DIEGO—A 16-year veteran of the San Diego Police Department was arrested for DUI, a police spokesman said Tuesday.
On February 22, at approximately 3:25 p.m., paramedics contacted a female passed out in a parked vehicle in the 2000 block of Pan-American Plaza. The female, Karen Almos, a detective with the San Diego Police department, was arrested by officers.
Almos has been placed on administrative duties pending the completion of the investigation.
