OCEANSIDE–Authorities arrested an Oceanside woman for suspicion of the murder of a Jefferson Middle School physical education teacher, the Oceanside Police Department said Friday.
The suspect, 22-year-old Jennifer Ramos, was taken into custody at her home in the 1300 block of Division Street. She was booked into jail Friday on alleged charges of stabbing Jefferson Middle School physical education teacher Chad Danielson, 45, in his front yard in the 500 block of Garfield Street in Oceanside.
Before the morning incident, Danielson had last been seen by his family, leaving his residence to walk the family’s dog. Upon his return home, a short time later, he was attacked in his yard by the suspect.
The Oceanside Police Department’s Crimes of Violence Unit is investigating the incident.
