San Marcos, CA–An 80-year-old woman was killed after her vehicle overturned in a solo crash in San Marcos early Monday morning, authorities said.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash in the 500 block of San Marcos Boulevard shortly after 3 a.m. and found a Honda sedan on its roof. The driver, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said there were no witnesses, and it is not yet known whether alcohol, drugs, or other factors played a role. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
