Escondido, CA–Escondido police arrested a 19-year-old man accused of allegedly exposing himself to a pedestrian Monday evening, authorities said.
The incident was reported at approximately 8:49 p.m. in the area of the 1300 block of South Escondido Boulevard.
According to the Escondido Police Department, a person driving a blue Dodge Charger approached a pedestrian and allegedly exposed himself before leaving the area.
Officers responded and began investigating the incident. During the investigation, police located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of North Broadway.
The driver was identified as Ricardo Rosales, 19, of Escondido, police said. Rosales was arrested and booked into the San Diego County Sheriff’s Vista Detention Facility on suspicion of indecent exposure and driving with a suspended license.
Investigators said they believe Rosales may be connected to additional indecent exposure incidents reported in Escondido.
Detectives are seeking information from additional victims and witnesses who may have encountered the suspect.
