RAMONA–The County Medical Examiner’s Office completed the autopsy of a man found fatally shot in Ramona.

The victim, 20-year-old Ivan Nivinskus of Ramona, died from multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death was ruled a homicide, according to the Medical Examiner.

On Sunday night, just after 8:30 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call of possible gunshots in the area of the 15900 block of Wood Rock Lane in Ramona.

The 911 caller stated that they heard multiple gunshots and someone yelling after the gunshots. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male victim with a traumatic injury, on the ground outside of a residence. The male was treated by paramedics from CAL Fire Department, but did not survive.
