LAKESIDE–A man was stabbed during a confrontation with another man at an apartment complex in Lakeside, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
The Sheriff’s Lakeside Substation received a radio call at 11:30 a.m. of an assault at the apartment complex located in the 300 block of East Bradley. An unknown suspect wearing dark clothing and a full-face motorcycle helmet followed the victim into the complex, confronted him, and stabbed him in the chest. The unknown suspect then left in a gold colored sedan eastbound on Bradley Ave. The victim was transported to a local trauma hospital and is expected to survive his injury; however, his current condition is unknown.
Sheriff’s Department detectives are continuing the investigation.
