Vista, CA–Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously injured outside an apartment complex Friday night in Vista.
The Sheriff’s Department dispatch received a report around 8:30 p.m. of the shooting outside an apartment complex on Postal Way.
When deputies arrived, they found a man in the parking lot who had been shot several times. Deputies began life-saving measures on the victim until paramedics arrived. He was transported to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. No other victims were found.
The investigation is ongoing.
