OCEANSIDE–An unknown adult male was found unresponsive Friday night in a street in downtown Oceanside.
Oceanside police officers received call at 8:40 p.m. of man down in the street in the 2100 block of South Coast Highway. Police officers found a white male adult, approximately 40 years-old, on the ground with injuries to his face and the back of his head.
Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital where he later died. The cause of death is unknown at this time.
Oceanside police is investigating the case.
