Fallbrook, CA–Sheriff’s detectives arrested a man in Murrieta on suspicion of murder last week of a man found buried on a property in Fallbrook.
Nicolas Burg, 29, a Fallbrook resident, was booked into Vista Detention Facility for one count of murder.
On July 14, Sheriff’s deputies were investigating a suspicious circumstance. Deputies located a body buried on a property in the 400 block of South Ridge Drive. The body of an adult male was exhumed and received by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Medical Examiner’s Office conducted the autopsy and is attempting to determine the identity of the man. The preliminary cause of death is being withheld. The manner of death is homicide.
