OCEANSIDE–Oceanside police arrested a man in connection with a suspicious fire near the Mission San Luis Rey cemetery on Wednesday, authorities said.
The man was spotted on Wednesday near the area of the blaze, located near State Route 76 and Rancho del Oro Drive, and was taken into custody, Oceanside police said.
There was no injuries to firefighters or damage to the cemetery.
The fire is under investigation.
