SAN MARCOS–An early Wednesday morning fire destroyed a mobile home at Palomar Estates Community in San Marcos.
The two residents, a 96-year-old woman and her son, were able to escape the blaze. Her son suffered minor injuries, according to authorities.
The cause of the 4 a.m. fire is unknown.
