RAMONA–The FBI and San Diego Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the unknown male responsible for robbing the Bank of America in Ramona Thursday morning.
The robber approached the teller and presented a demand note for cash. Simultaneous to presenting the demand note, the robber lifted up his shirt and displayed what appeared to be the handle of a handgun. The teller complied with the robber’s demand and provided him with a sum of money. After receiving a sum of money, the robber collected the cash and walked out of the bank. No injuries were reported at this time.
The robber was described as a white male, 60 to 70 years old, five feet, eight inches to five feet, ten inches tall with a thin build. His hair is gray and unshaven. He was last seen wearing a tan baseball cap, dark colored sunglasses, a black and white plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.
