OCEANSIDE–Oceanside police are investigating the suspicious death of an elderly man found dead in his home Tuesday.
Shortly before 7 a.m., Oceanside Police responded to a call of a man found unresponsive in the home located in the 500 block of North Tremont Street and Surfrider Way.
When Officers and Paramedics arrived at the home they found the victim deceased.
According to authorities, the 77-year-old victim had sustained trauma to his upper body.
The victim was found by his wife when she returned home from her job at a local nursing home.
Oceanside police detectives are investigating the incident.
