Vista, CA–A woman is facing multiple charges after being found in possession of drugs and weapons in Vista, authorities said Tuesday.

The incident was reported just before 4 p.m. in the 600 block of Sycamore Avenue. Sheriff’s deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station’s Community Policing and Problem-Solving Unit contacted two people inside of a parked car. 

According to the Sheriff’s Department, the driver, identified as 51-year-old Michell Bucknell, was a convicted felon and found to have multiple bags of a white crystalline substance consistent with methamphetamine, a semi-automatic pistol fully loaded, magazines and ammunition, a canister of mace, and U.S. currency.

Deputies arrested Bucknell on numerous narcotics and weapons violations. She was booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
