CARLSBAD–The Carlsbad Police Department, in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigations in San Diego, is seeking the community’s assistance to identify a bank robbery suspect.

On October 1, at 3:45 p.m., the police department was notified about a bank robbery that was occurring in the 6900 block of El Camino Real in Carlsbad.

It was reported that a white male adult, in his mid-20s, entered the bank and demanded cash. Once receiving cash, the suspect left the bank and was last seen running toward Dove Lane.

No vehicle has been associated with the suspect.

The suspect referred to a gun, but a gun was not seen. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as White male adult, mid-20s, 5’10”, 180 pounds with a thin build. The suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
