SAN DIEGO–Motorists are advised that Caltrans will close eastbound State Route 905 (SR-905) from La Media Road to Siempre Viva Road on Tuesday through Thursday, May 27-29, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The closures are needed so crews can install bridge falsework to construct the State Route 11/SR-905 connector as part of the SR-11 Otay Mesa East Port of Entry Project.
Detour signs will direct eastbound travelers onto southbound La Media Road, then eastbound on Siempre Viva Road to the eastbound SR-905 on-ramp. Additional nighttime closures of westbound SR-905 from the U.S./Mexico Border to La Media Road will be scheduled in early June –dates and times to be announced.
