SAN DIEGO–Senator Bernie Sanders is coming to California Friday for the first time since launching campaign for president.
He is scheduled to address supporters at a rally held at 5:30 p.m. at the Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego.
Last Friday, the Democratic senator announced that his campaign will be the first major party presidential campaign in history to unionize after a majority of eligible staff designated the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 400 to represent them.
The Sanders campaign is asking attendees to RSVP to the free event.
