OCEANSIDE–Professionally trained AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will be providing free income tax services for low and middle-income taxpayers, with special attention to seniors, aged 60 and older.
The services will be provided at the Country Club Senior Center, located at 455 Country Club Lane on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, beginning on February 3 and at the El Corazon Senior Center, located at the 3302 Senior Center Drive, on Fridays, beginning on February 7. Appointments will be scheduled between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at both locations. Appointments are approximately one hour. Make an appointment either in person or by phone between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Bring with you:
♦ All income and expense documentation for 2013, including W-2’s, 1099’s, Social Security income forms, broker statements, support for deductions and an ID or Driver’s license.
♦ A copy of your 2012 Income Tax Return
♦ Checkbook if you want to direct deposit your return
♦ Bring support for real estate taxes paid in 2013, even if you do not itemize deductions
