ESCONDIDO–In honor of the hard work and dedication health care workers provide patients each day, Palomar Health announced its 2017 doctors and nurses of the year.
During National Nurses Week, Palomar Health awarded three nurses who were chosen by their peers and exemplify the mission to “heal, comfort, and promote health in the communities we serve.”
Palomar Health’s 2017 Roz & Len Kolins Nurses of the Year:
- Palomar Medical Center Escondido – Roxanne Joy Olegario-Co, RN
- Palomar Medical Center Poway – Tonya Elliot, RN
- Clinical Outreach – Glynn Cascolan, RN

Palomar Health also awarded three doctors as 2017 physicians of the year in honor of National Doctors’ Day.
