SAN DIEGO–The Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank will host the sixth annual AimLoan.com San Diego Blues Festival along the downtown San Diego waterfront.
The family-friendly, two-day event will feature nine musical acts on two stages. Festival attendees will enjoy local craft beer, food vendors, specialty cocktails and wine, along with arts and crafts vendors. Free admission for children 12 and under. All proceeds and food drive donations will benefit the San Diego Food Bank.
A list of entertainers performing at the event include: Los Lobos, Bobby Rush, Nikki Hill, Watermelon Slim, the Bey Paule Band with Wee Willie Walker, Chris Cain, Billy Watson and Junior Watson, The Holla Pointe and Big Jon Atkinson.
The event kicks off Sept. 10 from noon to 8:00 p.m. at the Embarcadero Marina Park North (Downtown San Diego, next to Seaport Village).
General admission tickets: $25; VIP $150; and Super VIP $250. (Super VIP tickets include a private concert at the House of Blues Friday evening, Sept. 9.) To purchase tickets, visit www.SDBluesFest.com. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate.
The Food Bank requests all attendees to bring two cans of food to donate for the Blues Fest Food Drive.
