Saxophonist Ashu

Saxophonist Ashu

ESCONDIDO–Music fans, foodies and beer aficionados will love the evening’s lineup at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido on the Ides of March (that’s the 15th of the month for you non-Romans).

The festivities will begin at 5 p.m. with a special Brewmaster’s Dinner featuring San Diego-based craft brewery Stone Brewing Co., which was declared the “All-time Top Brewery on Planet Earth” by Beer Advocate Magazine. Stone’s beloved and highly-rated craft beers will be expertly paired with four courses of gourmet eats and treats cooked up by the Center’s award-winning kitchen.

The dinner will be led by Stone’s Small Batch Brewing Manager Steve Gonzalez, who has a master of science degree in brewing and distilling.

Following the dinner, attendees can enjoy the sounds of award-winning saxophonist, Ashu, whose musical style, like Stone’s bold and flavorful craft beers, defy tradition. Part of the Center’s Intimate Classics concert series, Ashu will perform in the Center Theater at 7 p.m.

The dinner and concert are available for purchase separately, or make a night of it with a Dinner-and-a-Show package, just $75 per person ($65 for Center members). Visit www.artcenter.org or call (800) 988-4253 to reserve your seats (Members must call to get their discounted rate).
