NEW YORK–Renowned Colombian artist, composer, and producer Camilo was honored by The Latin Recording Academy with a Latin Grammy in the category “Best Pop Song” for his international hit “Tutu” with Pedro Capó.
This is the first time in his career that Camilo receives the prestigious award, to which he said:

Thanks to my wife who believed and believes in me in every possible way. During the 21st annual, Latin Grammy Awards Camilo shone again when performing “Titanic” with Latin Grammy-winning artist Kany García and “Tutu” with multi Latin Grammy-winning artist Pedro Capó.
In addition to being recognized as “Best Pop Song”, “Tutu”, written by Camilo with Jon Leone and Richi Lopez, was certified Latin Diamond (10X Platinum) by the RIAA for high sales and streams in the United States. Camilo’s latest hit “Vida de Rico” has just become the most-watched video in the world this week, registering more than 264 million views on YouTube since its release at the end of September, while the single currently ranks in the Top 3 of Billboard’s Latin Pop Airplay chart.
As announced on his social media accounts, Camilo will release new music this November, while he continues to record his upcoming studio album, to be released early in 2021 (Sony Music Latin/Hecho a Mano).
