San Diego, CA–The San Diego Strike Force has signed running back Davonte Sapp-Lynch to its 2022 Indoor Football League roster, the league said.

Lynch, a former student at the University of New Mexico Highlands, and Contra Costa Junior College, most recently played for the Spokane Shock, and was named the league’s Offensive Player of the Week. During his time with the Nebraska Danger, Lynch earned All–Indoor Football League honors and was named the most dynamic player of the league. He played professionally in Germany prior to coming to the Indoor Football League, and caught the eye of the National Football League and Canadian Football League, attending tryouts with Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, as well as the Canadian Football League’s BC Lions.

“Lynch is considered one of the most dynamic players in the IFL. When he steps on the field, he does not mess around. He is a natural playmaker coming out of the backfield and as a return man. He brings an exciting brand of football to the table that is worth the price of admission.,” said Todd Durkin, general manager of the San Diego Strike Force.

“I see the Strike Force building a family-oriented team, and I want to be a part of that. I’m a team-oriented guy who will bring positive energy. We’ll give San Diego a football team to cheer for,” said Sapp-Lynch.
