SAN DIEGO–The San Diego Padres have finalized their Opening Day 30-man roster.

The club has recalled outfielder Edward Olivares, optioned right-hander Michel Baez and catcher Luis Torrens to the alternate training site, and placed left-handed pitcher José Castillo, infielder Jorge Mateo and right-hander Trey Wingenter on the Injured List.

The Opening Day roster features 12 right-handed pitchers, four left-handers, two catchers, seven infielders and five outfielders. Seven players are making their first appearance on a Major League Opening Day roster, including David Bednar, Jake Cronenworth, Ty France, Trent Grisham, Javy Guerra, Josh Naylor and Edward Olivares. With today’s announcements, the Padres currently have 55 players in the club’s player pool and 37 on their 40-man roster.

Right-Handed Pitchers: David Bednar, Zach Davies, Javy Guerra, Pierce Johnson, Dinelson Lamet, Chris Paddack, Emilio Pagán, Luis Perdomo, Cal Quantrill, Garrett Richards, Craig Stammen, and Kirby Yates.

Left-Handed Pitchers: Tim Hill, Joey Lucchesi, Drew Pomeranz, and Matt Strahm.

Catchers: Austin Hedges and Francisco Mejía.

Infielders: Jake Cronenworth, Ty France, Greg Garcia, Eric Hosmer, Manny Machado, Jurickson Profar, and Fernando Tatis Jr.

Outfielders: Trent Grisham, Wil Myers, Josh Naylor, Edward Olivares, and Tommy Pham.
