SAN DIEGO–(PRNewswire)–The Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced today their Sports Business Management MBA program was ranked fourth in the world according to SportBusiness International magazine.
SportBusiness International, which publishes the leading ranking system for sports management academic programs, surveyed more than 70 academic institutions throughout the world who offer sports business postgraduate degrees.
The “2017 SportBusiness Course Rankings” were published in the magazine’s July 2017 edition which ranked the top 40 sports business graduate programs in universities throughout the world. The rankings were based primarily on employment numbers, student satisfaction, and the assessment from directors of academic sports business programs at peer universities.
Now in its 13th year, the SDSU Sports Business Management MBA program is focused entirely on the international business of sports with a curriculum that combines the classroom environment, an international sports case study experience and a required internship within the sports and entertainment industry.
