CARLSBAD–Detectives from the Carlsbad police department are investigating the death of an unidentified female whose body was found in an undeveloped brush area.
On May 12 at 7:29 p.m., officers received a call to investigate suspicious circumstances in the 3700 Block of Haymar Drive in Carlsbad. Officers searched the area and discovered her body.
Detectives are following investigative leads to confirm the manner and circumstances of her death.
The identification of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
