Imperial Beach, CA–The Imperial Beach Sheriff’s Department and San Diego County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspects involved in an assault and robbery on May 11 in Lincoln Acres.

The incident occurred just after 1 p.m. in the 2500 block of Fenton Place in Imperial Beach. 

Sheriff’s deputies,  along with officers from the National City Police Department, responded to the scene and found two victims who had been assaulted and robbed at gunpoint.

The victims told investigators that two suspects armed with handguns confronted them in a front yard and forced them inside of a home. That’s where one of the suspects robbed one of the victims of his wallet containing $250 and his identification card. The other victim tried to disarm the other suspect but ended up getting shot in the foot during the struggle.

The suspects were seen driving away from the scene in a newer model 2018-2023 white Toyota Camry with tinted windows and aftermarket rims. 

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 24 and 28 years old, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds with black hair, mustache/goatee, and acne. He was wearing a black baseball cap with white lettering, a black shirt, and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 24 and 28 years old with a thin build. One of the victims overheard the first suspect referring to the second suspect as “David.”
