Encinitas, CA–A 15-year-old was arrested Saturday night in connection with a stabbing that seriously injured two 17-year-olds at a house party in Encinitas, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 10 p.m. in the 1600 block of Crest Drive, Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Christopher Lawrence stated in a news release.
Sheriff’s deputies said an altercation occurred at a party that spilled out into the street when at least one of the juveniles pulled out a knife and stabbed two other juveniles. One victim had a non-life-threatening cut to his hand, and the other suffered lacerations to his abdomen and a broken finger. He is in critical but stable condition.
The incident is under investigation.
