EL CAJON–Authorities are investigating the shooting of a 16-year-old victim found near a business Friday in unincorporated El Cajon.
Deputies from the Lakeside Sheriff’s Substation responded to a call of a shooting in the 1600 block of N. 2nd Street.
The victim was located by El Cajon police officers several blocks away on 2nd Street. The victim suffered from several gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital by paramedics. The victim was last known to be in critical condition.
No arrests have been made in the case and the investigation is on-going.
