SANTEE–Four people wanted for an alleged theft from Home Depot led Sheriff’s deputies on a vehicle and foot pursuit in Santee.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle and occupants wanted for a theft from the Home Depot located in the 200 block of Town Center Parkway in Santee. During the traffic stop, the suspects fled from deputies and a short vehicle pursuit ensued.
The suspects collided with other vehicles on Bradley Avenue where they fled from their vehicle. All three suspects were located and taken into custody. One suspect was injured and transported to the hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported. The driver was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant for resisting an executive officer, reckless evading in a motor vehicle, false identification to police officer holding other person liable and resisting arrest.
The other two passengers were arrested for petty theft from a business and resisting arrest.
