CARLSBAD–A two-alarm residential structure fire destroyed one garage and damaged three others near townhomes in the Tanglewood neighborhood in Carlsbad Sunday evening.
The blaze in the 2500 block of Via Astuto was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m., according to the Carlsbad Fire Department.
Carlsbad firefighters, along with fire crews from Vista, Oceanside and Encinitas, were called to the scene to knock out the flames to prevent it from spreading to nearby townhomes.
No injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation.
