Bonita, CA–Authorities have identified a man and woman found deceased in a vehicle in Bonita earlier this week, the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed.
The victims have been identified as 23-year-old Jullian Hernandez of Diamond Bar, California, and 22-year-old Alicia Kamo of Chino Hills, California.
On Tuesday at 11:12 a.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of an unresponsive person inside a sedan near Orchard Hill Road and Cresta Verde Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered a man and woman deceased inside the parked vehicle. Both victims exhibited trauma to their upper torsos, prompting the Sheriff’s Homicide Unit to take over the investigation due to the suspicious nature of the deaths.
According to the Medical Examiner’s Office, the cause and manner of death could not be determined solely through the autopsy. Investigators continue to gather evidence and examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
