Four teens booked in Juvenile Hall after robbing Game Stop

By Gina Yarbrough

El Cajon, CA–Four juvenile males were arrested on suspicion of robbing a Game Stop on Broadway in El Cajon on Monday, El Cajon Police Department said.

The suspects cased the store for about ten minutes before pushing a display case onto an employee and grabbing several video game consoles. The suspects then fled the store with the merchandise, said El Cajon police in the department’s news release

Officers searched the area and located the two suspects. They also found all of the consoles the suspects tried to hide.

The two juveniles were charged with robbery, and due to their ages, were booked into Juvenile Hall. Two other suspects are still outstanding, and the investigation is ongoing.

“The El Cajon Police Department will use every resource available to hold criminals who commit these types of thefts accountable. Criminal acts will not be tolerated and will have consequences for those who commit them,” El Cajon Police Chief Mike Moulton said.

Anyone with additional information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact the El Cajon Police Department at (619) 579-3311. Individuals with information who wish to remain anonymous can call the Crime Stoppers tip line at (888) 580-8477
