Fallbrook, CA–A single-engine plane crash at Altman Plants nursery killed a passenger, and seriously injured a pilot Saturday afternoon in Fallbrook, the North County Fire Protection District reports.
Fire crews responded to a report of a plane crash at about 1:52 p.m. at the nursery in the 2500 block of Olive Hill Road. The victims were located and removed from the plane. The pilot was transported to a trauma center in critical condition.
The names of the passenger and pilot have not been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
